Welome to Behavior Training for Dogs. My practice is limited to private, in-home training for your family and companion dog. I offer Family Companion Dog training and Behavior Training.
Family Companion Dog training is designed to help the client develop a dog that has good manners and responds to the most frequently requested behaviors. A typical training outline is provided on the next page. This program is broken down into four appointments. (2 hour, 1 hour, 2 hour and 2 hour) The appointments are scheduled at one or two week intervals. Training for your dog can begin at any age. The program is all positive reinforcement. I do not use physical force or dominance training methods.
Behavior Training is for those families and dogs that have specific problems such as aggression, sever anxiety, etc. For this type of need, I work in two-hour block appointments. The first appointment is normally used to assess the needs, develop a training plan and begin initial training. Subsequent sessions are scheduled as needed.
Fees are based on a per hour basis. The cost is $75.00 per hour. Nothing in collected in advance. It is a pay as you go system. (There is a 10% discount for active duty and fully retired military personnel and people 65 and older.)
Appointments My appointments are Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday at 12 noon, 3 pm or 6 pm. or Saturday at 9 am or 12 noon. I normally stay booked about 4 to 6 weeks in advance. If you wish more information or you would like to make an appointment, please contact me as indicated below.
